Week 23: Weather and Field Trip

We had fun learning about Wally the Whale who loved watermelon and all kinds of weather.  These wonderful preschoolers also helped me with a demonstration of the water cycle.  We enjoyed our trip to Southwestern Eye Center where we studied the different parts of the eye and learned about taking care of our vision.

Week 22: Volcanos and Valentines!

The letter V and making Volcanoes was a lot of fun! The students learned all about the different parts of the volcano and we played a hot lava game with our letters.  It was so sweet to hear these great kids list all of the people and things that they love during our Valentine's day party.  We searched for hearts in a sensory bin and had a heart hunt around the preschool.  We had fun decorating cookies and passing out Valentines too!  

Week 21: Track and Field

I loved watching these amazing preschoolers race, long jump, high jump, throw shot put (balloon) and javelin (pool noodle) and jump hurdles.  They loved to cheer for each other!  We made Tommy the Turtle project and practiced writing our letter Ts.  We also practiced dialing our phone numbers on different telephones.
