Letter S is always one of my favorite weeks! The sand art snakes turned out great. I love seeing the kids explore the 5 senses. We learned about eyes and looked for our letters and colors. We smelled vinegar, lemon, perfume, vanilla and more. We tasted sweet, sour, bitter and salty. We felt soft, rough and bumpy. The feather bin was the favorite. We used our ears and played sound bingo and explored different musical instruments. At the end of the day the students turned into Secret Super Silly Spies and made their way through obstacles.

Week 19: Robots
Robots, Racecars and Rhinos! We learned about the grumpy letter R that says rrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr! These fantastic learners enjoyed making robots, putting together robot puzzles and practicing writing our letters in rice. We also filled up our "Happy Jar" so the students choose a prize from the treasure box! These kiddos are creative, curious and kind and I sure love them!

Week 18: Queens and Kings
The letter Q was the star this week. We did activities and read books about Queens, kings, castles and dragons. We loved decorating our Q crowns and teaching a dragon our letters! We also made snow globes and talked about winter. We practiced writing our letters in snow and I got to hear a lot of sledding stories. These kiddos are creative and fun!
